FABULOUS FIRST FIESTA

When it comes to parties, 3rd and Luxe loves capitalizing on seasonal themes. For this client, we knew that vibrant flowers, fun sweets, and bright balloons would get everyone in the mood to celebrate our birthday girl and excited for Cinco de Mayo!

Add personal touches to any party you throw by placing framed photos around the venue. While you don't need to have matching frames, picking a color theme always helps the aesthetic.

Was it even a birthday party if there wasn't a balloon arch? We love the playfulness of our latest balloon installation. Mixing pastel and bright colored balloons helped tied together all of the colors we integrated into the flowers, desserts, and decor.

These Glazed Tres Leches Donuts were delicious and simple to make. See the recipe here.

Llamas, pompoms, and tassels? What's not to like?

We wanted a fun twist on a classic churro and this recipe inspired our gorgeous dipped churros at our dessert bar. We added sprinkles and Fruity Pebbles to ours!

Perfectly places sprinkles made this layered drip cake the star of our dessert table. We opt for tweezers when using sprinkles to decorate cakes or cookies. This simple tool allows for the most precision! (Don't worry- we do have separate ones for baking and for shaping our eyebrows.🤪)

Two cake toppers are always better than one!

Flower arrangement heights make a massive difference in tablescaping. We opted for a few taller arrangements with petite bouquets and baby cacti surrounding them. The height variations help create a fuller look!

Lilac Peonies are currently blooming in Southern California, so we took advantage of mixing this gorgeous hybrid flower in the centerpieces! Ask your local florist what is in season near you!

Mexican Street Corn Salad with Avodaco is a perfect side for a warm day. Find the recipe here.

Of course, we could not have a fiest without mixing fruit and chili pepper. Find our recipe inspo here!

Agua Fresca is a huge crowd pleaser at any outdoor event. Not only is it delicious, but it is also incredibly refreshing. Find the recipe here!
