Our creative take on the Woodland themed baby shower was one of our favorite spreads! We wanted to incorporate dainty and glamorous details for our girly momma-to-be as we celebrated the upcoming birth of her baby boy! Even though there is no pink in sight, we felt that this shower still maintained adorable feminine touches! Head to the bottom of this blog post to shop everything you see here.
Don't have time to hand-letter each food sign? No problem! We downloaded a twirly font and printed these food cards on off white paper!
To make our mini cake forest we used rosemary and thyme for the “trees” and Oreo crumbs and cacao nibs for the dirt and rocks! To serve, simply remove the fresh herbs and place them on dessert plates as garnish!
At first, we had a hard time finding decor that wasn't...ugly. When we saw these toy animals, we knew that we needed to pump them up a notch. So we decided to spray paint them gold and the finish product was perfect: chic cake accessories!
Make the easiest and impressive Nutella Croissants with pre-made puff pasty dough! While they come precut into triangles, forget using Pillsbury crescent rolls because the flavor is just so-so. Instead, buy sheets of puff pastry, cut your own triangles, add a dollop of Nutella, roll into croissants, and bake at 350 degrees till they are golden brown and flaky (about 20 mins.) So easy and so good!
We created our baby animal banner with Animal Poster Prints, a hole punch, and twine! Remember, if you can't find what you're wanting for a party online, it might be easier to make it yourself.
Chocolate dipped marshmallows with graham crackers, Oreos, and chocolate sprinkles are almost too cute to eat! To make stick giant marshmallows with cake pop sticks and dip into melted chocolate. Quickly dip into toppings and let cool on a sheet of parchment paper. Yep, it's THAT easy!
Flower field bouquets helped draw our theme in, while also maintaining our a sweet and delicate vibe!
Make adorable “birch tree” white chocolate pretzels with white candy melts and a drizzle of dark chocolate, Oreo crumbs, and chocolate sprinkles! While we went with white and black chocolate, you can dip pretzels in any colored chocolate that fits your theme. You can get colored chocolate at baking stores, but you can also pick it up at stores like Michael's and JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores!
We scoured websites and various stores for a table cloth that would fit this dessert table, but had no luck. It wasn't until we decided to go to JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores that we found the exact color and material we were hoping for! So, we just cut away and had the perfect table cloth for our desserts to go on! Did we sew up the edges of our "table cloth"? Absolutely not. Did anyone notice? Absolutely not.
How have you taken a popular theme an made it unique for your guests? We would love to hear!
